Thanks again to everyone for their support over the past year.

As you know, we always have to keep things moving at The Corner Station.  Here are some improvements and promises we have made for 2010!

1.  Expand our game and toy lines to improve selection for babies, older children and that under $10 price range.  Check out our new-but-classic-favorite games in stock.  These are excellent for family game nights or gifts for newlyweds and other older kids.  We'll also continue to stock fun new gifts for all ages from $3 to $8.

2.  DISCOUNTS all year!  To make sure you get consistently great values at The Corner Station, below are items for which you will never pay full price.  (And we don't mark merchandise up so we can mark it down like the big box stores!).  We don't know of any other Utah store that consistently offers discounts like these.

A GIVING TREE, TREE OF ANGELS AT THE CORNER STATION!

Dear Friends - We just received a huge shipment of Melissa and Doug toys PLUS the great sale prices continue on all gifts through Christmas at the Corner Station.  Make sure to check out the list below.  But what I am MOST excited about is the opportunity to host a Sanpete County Sub 4 Santa "Tree of Angels" (or Giving Tree) in our store.  This is the same trusted Sub for Santa group that coordinates, screens and helps hundreds of Sanpete valley children every year.

This year, this non-profit has been having an especially hard time raising funds and donations so a few Sanpete merchants are hosting a Tree of Angels to help break down the commitment into bite-sized "do-able" pieces so we can all pitch in together and make sure every Sanpete child has clothes or a toy for Christmas.  Donations of cash in any amount are also urgently needed. 

The Corner Station will donate 1/2 the regular retail price of every toy purchased here toward the Sanpete County Sub-for-Santa program.  That means you (or the Sub 4 Santa shopping committee) will pay only 1/2 the regular retail price for any toy you buy for a needy child in the Sanpete County Sub for Santa.  The Corner Station will make NO profit on any sales for this program.

All you need to do is come choose a card with a child's name and wished-for-item on the back.  You can purchase your gift anywhere but it must be returned to The Corner Station - unwrapped.  The gift items should be returned by Wednesday, December 16 where they will be assembled for each family and given to the Sub 4 Santa committee to be  taken to the parents so they can be wrapped or put out according to their traditions.

Please consider giving and encouraging friends, family and co-workers to help with this urgent need in Sanpete.  I promise all funds and donations will go 100% to this important program.

What's New at the Corner Station?

We really enjoy the folks who visit the Corner Station. It's always fun to have all our regular customers drop in and we greatly appreciate their support. We love the kids and how they so seriously contemplate how to best spend their hard-earned money. We have also been seeing more new people as they stop on their vacation travels . . . and more family or friend groups who are getting away from the rat race at a local cabin for a few days. They seem surprised and happy to find something a little different along the way, often telling us they find more of what they like at the Corner Station than they do at shops in the bigger cities. Our prices are better too, they say - - and we agree!

Great news for Fairview! The Bread Box bakery will soon be re-opening in with the Northbend Trading Post!! Not only that, but the Trading Post is featuring a great new look. Along with the amazing finds and selection at the Trading Post, you can also find the delicious homemade baked goods we have come to crave from the Bread Box.
